Jellyfish Nightfall
This piece was an experiment in combining disparate digital art mediums to create a unified world. Elements of illustration, painting, photography, and 3D modeling all feature into the scene. The hovering alien creature was, as the title suggests, inspired by jellyfish. The alien landscape that the figures emerge from was inspired by the Iowa countryside at dusk on summer nights.
