Pedal Art 2016 - Ever Amiable
2016 was the first year I participated in Pedal Art, an annual poster show put on by the Des Moines Bicycle Collective every May. I have participated every year since. Thirty Iowa artists are asked to create a bicycle-themed poster for the show. This design was inspired by the warped cartoons of Italian illustrator Antonio Rubino (15 May 1880 – 1 July 1964) and the psychedelic designs of Japanese graphic designer/ painter Tadanori Yokoo.
