When Foxholes were working on their first album, Trevor had the idea of doing a lyric book/ art book that could be sold alongside the CDs at the album release - a unique type of band merch. Each song would be a different piece of art. I loved the idea and was very excited to make the artwork for the project! This was the spread for the sixth song, "Dirty Motels". I've always heard some distant country influence on this song about seedy dwellings. For the imagery I wanted to depict said motel as a sort of nightmare carnival of regrettable acts. Good times!
