Foxholes Lyric Book - So it Goes
When Foxholes were working on their first album, Trevor had the idea of doing a lyric book/ art book that could be sold alongside the CDs at the album release - a unique type of band merch. Each song would be a different piece of art. I loved the idea and was very excited to make the artwork for the project! This was the spread for the fourth song, "So it Goes". This track is a jangle-pop tune about longing that has one of my favorite sonic moments in it. Somewhere near the end the playing gets quiet and it seems like they are fading out, and then BAM - the band kicks back in full-force with a heavy wave of sound. Super cool!
